That kit is not mandrel bent, but really you cant beat it for the price. Don't know how it sounds, though. Really, if you don't like the muffler you can simply replace it with another or even your stock one, as the midpipe has been shown to be much more restrictive than our factory muffler. I have a 2.25" crush bent midpipe w/o silencer and have been happy with the performance gains.
