ok guys,
i searched the first page of suspension but i didnt see anything so if this is a repost, my apologies....help a sista out.

i got my neuspeed race on sat. and i truely love it.....looks great. however, i have been noticing a funny noise.....a slight clicking from the suspension when for instance when i turn, or start to take off from a stopped position. someone said to me "oh thats just your springs settling".

its not a loud noise, if i have my radio i dont hear it, but i thought i would at least ask if this was "normal" and will it go away, or should i take it back to the shop that installed them with concerns.....

thanks guys

its the dead coils slapping against each other. Grease 'em up up real good;)

The first time I installed my Neuspeed's they were noisey as hell. I greased everything up nicely and it was quiet.

No you need suspension grease. You'll have to take them back out to do it properly. I greased the hell out of mine. I haven't heard a squeak. I heard some people using WD40. It'll work for a lil, but eventually it'll come back.

hey Sinister, is this sound more like a dong (deep sounding) sound? If so, you, or someone else can just lube up that area I showed in this post, at the bottom:

Hope that helps

its a hard noise to describe.....i would say like a cross between a light creeking and clicking ....especially when i turn my wheel while stopped or if i am like drifting out of my driveway......basically when i am crawling or moving very slow......its not loud, very subtle clicking. someone said it was the dead coils rubbing against each other. my thing is, i dont want them to have to take the springs off to lube them, i need to call the place and see. its not happening as much......they have been on the car now what like 2 weeks.....so thats good.
