how to BUMPERLENSES 56k beware

I actually had the guts today to take off the vinyl and paint my bumper lenses...heres a lil how to...

1st...take off the lil clip and pull back and reach in and pop out the lense

2000 GRIT SAND PAPER .... with water....and sand em down SO THE PAINT HAS SOMETHING TO STICK ON :D

DONT BE SHY keep sanding took take off that glossy finish on the lenses

1st coat of silver.....

back...remove the first screw...on the top......

then the second....and pulllll then do the same POP EM OUT...the back is a lil hard too but ill budge

clear coat.... then put em back..


WARNING: DO NOT USE a light silver color try using something a lil darker than silver....because mine came out too light...gotta go back to pep boys and pick up a darker silver color....:D

I didn't need to remove any body panels, I just reached up underneath the car.

i didn't need to reach anywhere. just push the lens towards the rear of the car and it pops out. It tells you to do that in the owners manual

i broke off all the lenghtwise tabs by "just pulling them out" becareful when taking these out

For the rear lenses... If you just reach up from the back and under side of the bumper you can reach the lenses. Makes it much much easier then taking 2 screws out and popping your bumper back. :)
