I went to Meineke the other day to find out how much it would be to have the custom midpipe done. The guy pulled my car in so he could take a look at it. He said he could make me a custom midpipe, but it wasn't going to do me any good. He said that due to the smaller opening in the cat that a larger midpipe wouldn't help because the new piping won't breath any better since the cat opening is smaller. Does this make any sense? I tried telling him that several people have done this mod, and that this was the best route to take as far as modding the exhaust. Am I missing something here? What can I tell this bozo, so he'll understand what this is doing?
