n00b question...whats a LSD?

LSD stands for Limited slip differential. Our cars have an open differential which just puts power to both wheels whether they get traction or not. A limited slip differential helps to ensure that there is always power being put to the ground. I'm not one to explain all the technical differences between the two but I believe that is essentially the difference in terms of general performance.

Limited Slip Differential;)

It is also used when cornering and the inside tire begins to slip it transfers power to the outside tire.

Who's making LSD's for our car? Or do I only have the JDM option?

how much do they run for and how hard is it to install?

so basically it helps with traction?

Yes mainly for traction. I dont believe anyone makes it for the EP yet. Just OEM Honda and I dont know the exact price but your better off just buying the whole tranny.

and Steve be happy...you have turbo....bastard..:p ;) LSD would be awesome on your car though.:)

the rsx guys are looking into quaife, kaaz, and even spoon and mugen as better alternatives to the jdm lsd. if you get a jdm lsd more often than not it will be used and beat up. quaife seems to be the best one out of the others because it is a good product for the price, $900, and it is the easiest one to break in, figure 8s for 10 minutes kinda thing. check out quaife i can't seem to find their website though.

quaife should have one out now for our cars. I read it somewhere in a magazine
