View Full Version : Got my Injen SRI today!

Just recieved my Injen SRI today!

The thing was snap to install and it looks great!

Took it for a test run and although power doesn't seem to have gone up to much, throttle response is MUCH improved.

Best of all, the thing SOUNDS AMAZING at full throttle!

I'm geeked... this is my first real "mod" on the EP!

How loud was it? I thought something was loose when I first heard my CAI.

It's not a whole lot "louder" than stock...

Just a lot deeper, throatier, and meaner sounding than stock.

You can only notice it above 3/4 throttle... Then there's a nice mellow growl to it... It's very nice!:p

I agree... I just installed the same intake a few days ago and damn it sounds tough..... not loud... just well.... like he said throatier.... Feels good too...

I used to have one. Nice intake. Flows better without that metal shield thing.

I have an HKS intake now and it sucks air in pretty loudly. I think the noises we all hear are from the intake pipe rattling.

Definitely a plus with any SRI: looks, easy install, tons of freed up space, and most important, throttle response like we all agree on.

I have the K&N SIR and I love it. I just thought it was worth because of the sound.

I had never had a SRI or CAI on my car so I didn't know what it would sound. But when I went for the test drive I ALMOST JIZZED ON MY PANTS!

Everyone complements on how my car sounds now. :D I'ts awesome!

I must agree - sounds WAY better than my 00' EX with an AEM - much deeper and with more "growl " :p

congrats..
btw.... i'm think'n of going that way aswell.. over the cai due to the fact taht i'm affraid watter might leak into it... and where did you guys get the injen sri from and how much.. can you direct me somewhere that i can get a good deal on it???

i had injen SRI and injen CAI. i liked sri better. better respond.
im going with injen sri this time as well. any pictures?:D
