Id rather have the k20a. I-vtec is much better than regular vtec if u want something called torque. Also the K series has proven that they take better to mods and produce much better numbers. Add i/h/e to a s2000 n u lose like 5 lb ft of torque and gain 3.5 hp/ =-P im j/k but it really is high strung and hates mods.

+ have u seen what a k20a can do with hondata i/h/e ? 200 whp thats 12 shy of a f20c but it will make alot more torque.

The F20C is arguably the best motor honda has ever built for a road-going vehicle in terms of performance. The way that you defend the K20A is parallel to saying that you would buy an S2000 to swap in a modded K20A, and swap in the F20C tranny, which is ridiculous.

correct me if I'm wrong but the vtec system in the F20c is far more advanced than the i-vtec, just becuase honda tweaked the vtec system for our economy car from a twelve year old platform and then threw an "i" in front of it does not make it outperform a N/A 4cyl with 240hp and a 9K redline. An EP with an F20...my god it would be a dream come true.:p
