I've done two install of CAI, they aren't that hard. Takes a little time. Just pay attention and don't rush.

Does a cold air sound any better than a short ram?

Hey goldenglow,

How does the car feel power wise with the intake?

Here is the link to the how to from this site:

I think that short rams usually add more "sound", but that's all they do for you. You need a CAI to get any real gains.

Hey sorry it's taken so long to reply...I was out of town....The AEM was a real pain to do...It wasn't my First CAI install...it was actually my third...The engine bay is really tight...trying to clamp the breather hoses on was especially hard...well maybe it's because of the size of my hands....I'm a big guy (6'5", 240 lbs)...My hands are huge....but anyway...I'm happy its done...the filter sits in the driver's side wheel well....I feel a little difference in power....Could be the shitty Michelins, But I chirp third whenever i want to...I only got 650 miles on the car...I hear that It'll fully break in soon and I'll feel more power...

I wish I could catch 3rd whenever I wanted to. I can only do it once in a blue moon.

Thanks for the chart!

Doesn't seem to do much until 4k, but from there it seems pretty decent.

Looks like you lose a little bit of torque at lower RPMs

When your driving your car hard and you shift hard enough, you'll be able to squeal the tires, you know how sometimes you hear someone drive by ya rev there motor high in first and when they shift you here the tire go eeerrr!!! Thats what there talkin about.

I am really bad at explainig things sometimes so if i sound confusing I'm sorry. :)
