I have one.. Best damn radar detector I've ever owned... The only radar detector worth buying.. even tho it's $400, worth every penny....

yeah can't be a cheapskate... if your going to dish out $400 for the detector.. pay the extra $40 for the remote display unit..


and DetroitRiot.. for best results it needs to be unblocked and in view of the windows... not too sure about being in that little tray under the cd player.. proably wouldn't pick up much.

if you do get pulled over and you have a radar detector, they know you are trying to get away with speeding, and there isn't much of a chance that the officer is going to let you off with just a warning

Just a thought ... What if you put the detector at the back, behind the headrest of rear seats. I don't think the officer will notice what you have back there.
