Awhile back I didn't even know what those meant. I thought instead of typing "EX" or "DX", people were just misspelling it and typing "EG""EK".

600 miles before you use wot, thats in the manual for the break in. i just short shifted for the first 600 miles. honda wants you to leave the break in oil thats in the engine in it for 5000 miles. after that you are on your own. hope that is what you wanted to know

5000 miles? I got mine changed at 3750. That's what the sticker said on the inside window whenever I bought the car

it says right in the manual 5000 miles. and was told repeatedly by the dealer not to change it before then

That's what I've heard, 5000.

thats funny, i guess cars need different things during break in. when i got my spec v, the guys at nissan kept telling me to change my oil at 1000, right after the break in period. cuz during break in period you get a lot of metal flaking off. but i guess different cars need different things.

i guess honda has a special "break in oil" that they put in the engine when its built. i always thought you were supposed to change the oil at 1000 miles also, but they repeated DO NOT change it until 5000 miles. oh well gives me time to figure out what oil i will use
