Brettnyt, thanks for the props bro.

Suk02Si, that wing is from Showstoppers--Chuck (rocky too) is the coolest dude ever. Professional, yet cordial and friendly, and most of all, very helpful. Also, EPHatchgirl is awesome--she knows why ;)

younggotti266, thanks...oh yeah, my bad, forgot to add her... she's worth the most out of my mods! But when she's in my car she adds weight and slows me down, but it's a good trade off ;)

RacingCivic, thanks bro. I'll be gettin' my DC header and neuspeed shortshifter any day now. After that I don't know what I'll be doing next, though I'm thinking about brakes.

02Taf, thanks for the props. if you or anyone have suggestions for future mods other than header & shortshifter, definitely let me know.

nice car and your gf is very pretty. who gets more looks, her or the ep? lol

i am a little confused with your sanfrancisco/washington dc thing..... which one are you from?

keep up the good work. let me know how you like that short shifter, i have been undecided on whether to get it or not, heard good and bad things about it.

and yeah, ephatchgirl is one of a kind......nice person all the way around :D

SinisterCivicSi,

Thanks man. I dunno who gets more looks, but when she's in the car it's a killer combo heh.

I'm from San Francisco, and I'm currently in frisco for the summer, but I go to school in Washington DC...so that's the thing.

I'll let you know about the shortshifter. Good luck w/ the ride.

Sinister,

I go to school at George Washington University in Wash DC. My dad actually now lives in VA (5 minutes away from me in DC) and my half bro and half sis live out there too...so it's all good. My short shifter and header will be coming in on Monday. I hate when the package just doesn't quite make it on Friday, and then you have to wait all the way til Monday.

02Silver--thanks buddy.

CivicSiR
07-17-2003, 09:58 AM
I bought some buddy club side skirts last weekend and tomorrow they'll be painted and installed on my car! Pics will be coming for sure!

I'll also be installing my header and shortshifter on Saturday. I have some pics of the header itself, and i'll try to take pics of it while on the car. I'll also show the comparison of throws for the shifter--stock versus neuspeed.

Just installed some Nology hotwires. I'm gunna take some pics in a few days and post. They're awesome...in general the car is a lot smoother.. performance-wise I notice the car just moving quicker throughout the rpms and more power down low right after you shift. The install wasn't too bad, tho it took me awhile cause i'm stupid...and I wanted to get it right.

02SilverSiHB...sup man...I got the wires from Chuck at Showstoppers (showstoppersusa.com). They're expensive as all hell, but he'll at least give you the best deal on them out there. I love the wires...if you have the money, get'em bro.

Civicvtec1ps, thanks for the props man. It's awesome how for the EP you can just get side skirts and still look clean. If I get any other body work, I'm thinkin' about a CTR rear and the new kaminari front lip, along with a mugen style grill (hopefully custom in carbon fiber).

Just installed a few things: (pics below)

Nology hotwires (installed awhile ago)
Neuspeed front strut (black polished)
Neuspeed X-brace (black polished)
DC polished rear tie (pics coming soon)
S2000 engine start transplanting hazard onto right side of shifter
Panasonic VAD7300u DVD/CD/MP3/TV/7" in dash monitor
Panasonic 8-disc cd changer
PS2 installed
Carbon fiber engine cover with custom I-VTEC DOHC decal
Debadged side I-VTEC decals and rear civic and Si emblems

Aite, these pics should be clearer than before, plus I just added pics of my custom S2000 engine start install. It rained today. I took one pic of my ass to show the debadged rear.

You can get the carbon fiber engine cover on ebay for like 60 bucks or so. search for 02 civic si i think. As for the decal I had that custom made. I can get some more if you're interested. And by the way, I'm gunna take new pics...these suck izzass. sorry.

YooShin,

Thanks...Yeah I wanted to build up a few more mods before postin' again...but it's funny cause I had to go to page 13 in the member rides forum to find it lol!

Raiyo,

I'm doin' it ghetto style, not really mounting it (the PS2), just behind my seat for now (I don't always have it in the car). But now that I think about it, there really aren't too many good places for it...I might mount it in the trunk when I finally get around to doing a custom sub install, but I'm not sure if the controllers will quite reach.. other than that I can't really think of a good place for it.

I can't find a good place to mount the PS2 either. If I find a good place then I'll install a LCD monitor and the PS2 to it. I don't like the idea of mounting the PS2 in the trunk. I still want to be able to use my trunk now and then. My PS2 has it all, can play MP3, DVD, Divx, VCD, PS1 & 2 back-up games.

I hear you bro.

The reason why it doesn't matter where I mount my PS2 is cuz my panasonic indash plays dvds and mp3s anyway. But if I didn't have that capability, I'd want to have my PS2 right at my hands too.

Yup. Dat was me. It was awhile back because, although I'm from frisco, I go to school out in Washington, DC. So I'm back for the summer now, which means new mods, new pics, and chillin' in the city. Actually it's more like working my ass off, but that's okay. Still have time to kick it at my favorite spots for food... pho, thai, chinese, japanese, indian (nan 'n' curry hah), etc. Oh yeah, and my girl's out here too. hah. don't tell her ;) ...she'd be  and then  lol anyway. yo raiyo, we should kick it and peep each other's rides.

Talking about food, where do you eat your vietnamese food at? I believe the best in the city is "Pho Hou Hip," if that's how you spell it. It is located on 19th Ave and Irvine, near the corner. There are 2 there, one is good and the other is bad. If you are facing Cheveron, it is on your right. As for Japanese food, try out the place down at 3rd Ave in Burlingame. It's a place called Sushi-Sam.

Yah, if you got the time, we could kick it. But my car isn't tricked out like yours :D

Haha that's funny cuz irving is where I eat my pho too, but I go to Loi's. It's like 23rd/24th I think. That place is the shiznit and I'm coo w/ them. Pho Hou Hip? hahah, I know that place, it's not bad. I can't really help you on the spelling for the second part, but I think the Hip is sposed to be Hiep. haha. And for Japanese food... hmm... well although this place might not be extremely good or anything, they have a HELLA good deal, and the food aint that bad. It's funny you say 3rd, cuz this one is on 3rd and Geary--Ichiraku. It's got a lunch menu. 6.95 you get to choose 3 items from a list of like 12 different things...I get Beef Terriyaki, Chicken Katsu, and Shrimp Tempura. They bring you edamame however u spell that, soup, random appetizers like salmon terriyaki and some kinda japanese salad, some seaweed w/ cucumber salad, and all this other stuff, and ice cream at the end too, all included in the 6.95. Makin' me hungry man..
