What did you do with your beatiful oem wheels?

I would do but i need the stock lights for our MOT test. Those APC lights dont have a fog light, which we need in the UK. The wheels are in my garage, used for track days so i dont trash the 19"s!

I love your car!!.......but those rear lights GOTTA GO!!!! They just ruin it for me, IMO. Everything else is perfect and I love electronics inside!

Are you "THE" Andy Green , as in fastest land vehicle record holder? Prolly tons of Andy Green's in the motherland.

ahh yes, I think I remember this car. I'm not sure if its the same one, but I think it was Jontis who posted a few pics a while back from a meet he attended and your car was in a few of his pics.

Why can't I have a TYPE R? Very nice ride, again the APC tails...got to go, but overall very clean! (Black ep's ROCK!):p

What kind of intake is that?

G-man77
06-17-2003, 08:57 AM
Yeah I'm not to keen on the rear lights either but they on for a show next month then they will be coming off!

Kathryn, just stick a type r engine in your SI and it would be so much better than any type r!

G-man77
06-17-2003, 08:59 AM
Its a blitz sonic power filter, I'm sure it would fit the SI!

I'm agreeing with this guy...

-APC lights on an R = (hand in your license)
-Heavy Bling TSW Pin-Drives on an R = (hand in your license)

The lights are nasty and so are those putrid rims...

Just my opinion:)

I think I will buck the trend and go for some 15" helium(bronze)
Will bronze look good on a Black car? Does anyone have a pic of
bronze wheels on a black car? The Heliums weigh 11.5 lbs each, I think this will offset the advantage of 215 wide wheels vs 205 or 195. Again everyone's opinion more than welcome.

-Yes

-Yes

-10.7lbs in 15inch(not 5bolt, only 4bolt) 16lbs in 17inch

-Yes more than offset the weight

Thats what I've got
-10.7lb Heliums
-17.8lbs 195/60/15 Yoko's
-Total savings at each Corner = 12lbs +/-

Yeah i'm gonna go for a JDM style side windows tint very soon, just need to save a bit more cash, spent a fair bit recently!

Bit far to send the rims! Would cost more in postage than a new set!

The following is just an opinion: APC= AMERICAN PRODUCT CRAP. Lose the lights but the car really kicks ass. I mean butt.

Very true, i think the UK is at least a year behind the US in styling trends and we kind of have our own little trends, at the moment its massive wheels (up to 20") on little hot hatches!! :D

Really please with how the feature came out, photo's look really good! APC tails have now been removed, was never keen on them but they were different. Not sure if you get Banzai over in the states, i'm sure the editor told me it they send some over, but its a big place!
