Has anyone installed or found any of those Xenon HID whatever direct replacement bulbs. You know just plug and play. Thanks
Nick

Spend the extra dough and get yourself a set of PIAAs!

These things are the next best things to actual HIDs, and they don't burn out after a month like the cheaper "xenon" ones.

The PIAAs have a nice blue-white color, and really throw the light down the road.

Check out the "Rate and Review" section!

Nothing will ever compare to real HID's. Try xenondepot.

If you want bulbs, try Sylvania. The Silverstars and Cool Blues are pretty nice and cost a lot less than PIAAs.

Headlights = H4
Parking lights to match (and corner lights, front interior lights, fender turn signals... maybe some more) = 194 or 168

Thanks! I thought they were H4, but couldn't remember (bad memory these days). :D

I got a pair of Catz Galaxy white bulbs and I love them. I've only had them for a couple of weeks but so far so good. I also have the Galaxy Whites, running off of the Zeta ballasts... The projected hue is astonishingly close to HID.
Before these, I had some Hipers that I got for about $20... used for about a year (about 33k miles - still haven't blown out) I really liked the color of those with the silver car.

How much did the Zeta ballasts cost you? I thought about getting those.

Yeah, got any more info on them for us? I'm broke right now but sure would like to get a "poor man's" HID setup some day. :)

I got them from MJH Sound....
MJH Sound Link (www.mjhsound.com)

They beat competitors prices by about $50.... amazing.

A warranty is kinda difficult to use if you need to get a replacement bulb that night.

Or, buy two pairs so that you have a backup while waiting for the warranty replacement.

Hey dynaspeed, do you have that whole set up or just the Catz bulbs? Can you just use the bulbs without the whole fuse thing?

my H1 Razo HID look alike bulb burn out again(within 3 months) lucky me i've order the XD HID kit and hopefully will arrive next week.

may be this only happen on H1 type bulb since i know quite a lot Prelude owners complain the bulb burn out easily.
