to repaint a rear bumper?
Anyone had to do this yet?
Someone brushed up against the back of my EP today and scraped the paint off. Nothin' like a little plastic showin' to cap off the day!
Need to know approximatley how much I'm lookin at to have it repainted the right way.

Exactly what I want to know...was it just spot work or did they have to remove and repaint the whole bumper? And was it a local shop that did it or a Maaco-type place that has various locations around the country?

I have a family friend bodyshop guy that did my other civics each with this info...
...costs him ~85.00 to obtain a decent amount of paint.
...the job, well he only charges me for the paint.
but, It should be a quick enough job not to warrant more than 75.00 for labor (repainting the entire bumper that is). So like 160.00 seems fair for a GOOD job:)

I was hoping I could find something under $200. I can't be the only EP owner on these boards who needs to have something repainted...someone must have had it done by now. Speak up.

Mine was just a spot job done by a local place; a friend of a friend.
