im going to be installing springs very soon... i was just wondering if someone with a service manual could list the torque specs for the nuts/bolts in the front and rear...
or if im just being anal and i shouldnt worry about the torque specs... as long as its tight? i dont want to over tighten anything.. thats my main concern..
thanks in advance

Unless otherwise noted, these apply to both the front and rear. Just remember that the struts are in the front and the shocks are in the rear. I'm always terrible with remembering the correct terminology for each.

Strut bolts (connect shocks/struts to the spindle): 116 ft lbs
Flange bolts (connect to the bottom of the shock): 45 ft lbs

Flange nuts (connect to top of strut tower): 33 ft lbs
Flange nuts (connect to top of shock tower): 43 ft lbs

Self-locking nut (on top of strut that holds spring): 33 ft lbs
Self-locking nut (on top of shock that holds spring): 22 ft lbs

Tie-rod nut: 32 ft lbs

Brake hose bracket: 16 ft lbs
ABS sensor bracket: 7.2 ft lbs

Spindle nut (aka axle nut): 134 ft lbs

And for the rear alignment kit....
Rear upper control arm: 43 ft lbs

Good Luck,
Kurtis

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i could hug you right now...

maybe an admin could make this sticky.. or add it to the spring install thread...
cuz ppl always say to "torque everything to spec"...
but then they never say what the spec is.. as if its assumed...
or maybe its just me in the dark about these things...
