for the stickers.. blow dryer/heat gun to soften the glue.

I also had the dealer remove mine before I took possession, but I asked him how it was done and he said the same thing as stated above. "use a blow dryer or a heat gun and slowly heat it up and peel it away. You can do this with both the pin stripes and the side ivtec stickers".

I think it took me about 5 minutes to do mine. A heat gun works well, they peel right off without leaving any stick residue. I asked the dealership to do it before I took delivery and they said I need to set up an appointment with their body shop and be prepared to leave the car all day, yeah right!!

hair dryer!
heat gun can actually damage/melt your paint.

i took mine off like the second day i had the car. i didnt need a heat gun, i just peeled them right off in one piece. i hate pinstripes.

when i painted my 442 i used a high pressure sprayer at a car wash to take mine off, just dont hold the sprayer on any chips or it will take the paint off to.

Same here. I then went over a few spots with some goo gone and removed the adhesive that got left behind. (Only on a few spots.)

what i dont like is when you pull off the pen stripes and you dont realize that your paint is faided slightly so you have 2 lines down the side of the car thats darker then the paint. of course you all aint going to have to worrie about that for a few more years

My pinstripes were on for a few summer months, and after I pulled them off, Goo Gone'd the residue, and washed & rewaxed, there was no fade to the paint.

Can't even tell that they were there in the first place. The i-VTEC stickers might be next...

I am thinking of taking off the decal too. I just do not like it because the body does not look clean to me.

I like the decal, and I like it clean, too. Heck, I might just leave it for a while longer.

I guess i was lucky. I bought my ep without any pin stripes. But as soon as i got home with it, off came that goddy front licence plate holder.

no need for a hair dryer. just wait for a hot sunny day, and peel them off with your fingernails.

you know, that doesnt look bad at all. i like the ivtec there but i dont like the fact that its a sticker. only because around the edges of the sticker, there is a very slight dark ring from where dirt has either stained the plastic or gotten under the sticky part. for darker cars you guys dont have to worry about that, but for those who have silver like me or the white, they might know what i am talkin about.

plus i dont want that part of my paint to start fading around the ivetc and then take it off and have a darker hue. i better take it off while i got the chance.
well......that wont be for at least a month so it will have to wait.....but i am thinkin now its gotta come off. the clean side looks so good.

the 1st thing I did was take off the pin stripes and Ivtec sticker, I'm so glad I did, I love the cleaner look (IMO)

i dont think sinister should take the i-vtec stickers off...because she has other stickers in her window...and it just kinda go along. For people going with the "clean" look, debadged, destickered, deanythinged....it goes with the scheme they are trying to get.
