speaking of keeping the engine bay clean.....how do I get oil off the sparkplug cover....I spilled just a tad on the top of it then I wiped it with a shop towel and My dumb ass kept spreading it all over the sparkplug cover. any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I alway's took a towel and just wiped down everything in the engine compartment everytime i washed my car which was once a week. I never used any cleaning agent i never really had to, the key is just doin a little every time u wash it and it doesn't take long either. It's worth it, i got compliments all the time. I would see some people's Si's and i was like damn, there engine compartment's were filthy.

If your engine is really dirty you could try CD2 Engine detail kit. It is 2 cans and they work great. I believe you can get it just about anywhere.

is that the stuff that you spray and then you leave it? if not is there anything that we can spray back there then let it sit like tire cleaner? it is hard to get back there where all the dirt comes in from our open wheel well. it would be sweet if there was something i could just spray back there that would be safe. tilex maybe?

Ahhhh. The be all end all when it comes to cleaning. Simple Green is the best solvent/cleaner I have ever used. Dissolves brake dust, cleans carpets, gets puke off the bathroom floor....the list goes on.
