I was reading the review posts, and people were saying that they had to cut some metal for the Injens. THey dremeled out some metal.

Anyone know what you have to cut or dremel.

Thanks.

SSVR6 has a wicked sweet site with some great info including a step by step on an Injen CAI install

K-Series.com (http://www.k-series.com/tech_detail.php?Tech_ID=EP_INJEN_CAI)

be sure to check out the rest of the site too

edit: i am almost positive it also tells you where to cut in the injen directions

I actually didn't cut the metal, but it's around the hole where the pipe goes down into the bumper from the engine compartment.

I'll take a better pic of the area but my IC piping will be in the way.

Just a few. Hope this helps, always shop around. Please don't buy from Nopi (so over priced and not very friendly). Well I guess the same could be said about Inlinefour.

I used a dremel to shave down the area that the intake tube goes down at (just behind the headlight there is a hole that it fits through). I didn't shave much, I then used a rubber sleave to put around the intake where it came in contact with the area that I shaved down, to prevent and noise or rubbing.

I didn't shave nething at all. Just fit right down in there.

I could have done that, but I didn't like the sound of the intake vibrating against the medal on WOT...and not too mention it will rub too much against there under spirited driving and grind into the intake.

they (the dealership) was supposed to have given you a card (the size of a credit card, but not as thick, real flimsy) that has the radio code on it. You just put the numbers in real quick and it works.

If you don't remember them giving you one, look all inside your manual, or anything you got after buying the car...papers, etc.

If that doesn't help, go to the dealership and then tell them to fix it and give you the card.

Its a anti-theft device. When you bought the car, the dealship should have gave you a car that has the code on it that you have to enter for the radio to work.
