JDM non-hid projectors and Xenondepot?

I notice that the JDM non-hid projectors do not have the inside shield that surrounds the bulb. I was wondering if the xenondepot kit would work better with or without this shield. If it works better with, then I should just order the hid's for my stockies. Otherwise, I'll opt for the JDM. Does Type X have the non-hid JDM lights?

cliffs: Stock projectors have a bulb shield that the Non-HID jdm projectors lack. Which projectors would the Xenondepot kit be more compatible in terms of correct light patterns and less "spray"?

best pic i could muster with the stock headlights. notice the shield that is NOT on the Non-Hid JDM lights. I understand that the HID bulbs come with their own shields, so would the inside stock housing shield mess up the light pattern?
