View Full Version : Where do you find the the Chasis code from the VIN#

I was looking at the 96-00 hatchbacks and all the VIN #'s dont day EK on it. So do people have EK's.
The ep3, dc5,dc2 are all there but not the 96-00 hatches they say EJ6.
Can someone tell me wassup with that?

Thats simple EK = JDM chassis , and EJ = Us + some Euro spec chassis, Sorry for not responding its hard to read every ones post, this place has gotten so big in a year, well i hope that helps. the biggest differnce between Ej and EK are the motors, and Ecu wire harrness, thats from what i have found out, There are more differneces but i cant remember them off the top of my head, :)
