Well as the post says, after getting my clear corners done last
week, I decided today to add some cheap but effective headlights
with parking lights in both clear and amber. I decided to stay
with the amber parking lights on the headlamps. Even though
the sylvania 168 clears look alot cleaner than stock.
I know some of you have done this as well, and think it is a cheap
but noticable diff. over the stockies. I did also notice that the
stock parking lights were quite faded and black. Looked quite
yellow head on. The ambers were included in the clear corners I got, so
after searching around at 5 diff. places for lights, I remembered
I had them, they worked out just fine. The silverstars claim 4000k
and was surprised at how clean they looked. Did not want the blue effect.
In the pic, staring from top left, then right and next lower left to lower right, etc:
1. What I decided to go with, amber corners and new silverstars (low beams).
2. Same as above with flash.
3. Just the amber corners on.
4. New 168 Amber vs. White parking lights.
5. Packaging for the new bulbs (old OEM's are in them)
6. new sylvania 168 whites (alot brighter than stock)
7. White 168's and silverstars (low beams)
8. White 168's and silverstars (high beams)
You be the judge. I like em. The price all together was less than
$50 US.:D
