A very nice machine Type X !!! Listen , i have to ask , got a little dilemma going on over in the Aerodynamics forum .

On these damn side skirts , did you use 2 way tape , use 2 way tape and drilled holes for oem mount clips , or just drilled holes and used all mount clip points .

Your skirts appear to be firmly and accurately placed , just what method did you utilize to fasten to car ?

i got the NON HID jdm lights from Sheng @ www.jdmhondaparts.com

and the hid that is in them is www.XenonDepot.com

i bought a 6000K kit from xenon depot about a month ago. i love the kit, but last night on my six hour trip from louisiana to texas, my left bulb was acting funny, kinda flickering from blue to an orange color. it was weird. it would only happen when i would switch from bright back to dim. so for the last hour of the trip i was afraid to use my brights. this morning i go into work and im in the parking garage and i turn my brights on and back to dim. same thing, flickering. i turn them off and back on and WHAT THE FUCK~~ my left bulb is burned out. have you had any problems with yours. i have all my wires tucked away nicely, and the install was a clean one. i am just not very happy right now. those freakin things were expensive. let me know what you think, i would like to have a second opinion from the only other person that i know of with this kit. could this be my fault? are they gonna hassle me with a bulb exchange? am i gonna have to pull everything out? man, im just really pissed off right now and unsatisfied. i could have spent six hundred dollars on new shocks for my car and not this. you feel me?

i had the same problem in the beginning turned out to be a bad ground

a good way to test is to switch power connections from the left to right just plug them in try that out

if it turns out u have a faulty bulb

I just installed the xenondepot 4100k and the lights look bright as hell! The install went good, wires tucked away, and all connections (ground, positive, & connectors) good. The problem I have is sometimes when I start my car, the HID would flash on then off quickly. This is weird because my headlight switch is off and the HID would flash. I noticed it only does this when I go to work in the morning and not at any other times. Any suggestions as to what the problem is? Thanks

that happened to me as well

it evenutally stops
i think its the system getting used to the flow of power as weird as that osunds

i had to disconnect my power for a car show
and when i reconnected it it did that for a few days

completely normal ;)

Yeah thats weird because the light will only turn on when it receives a signal. And also, this only happens in the morning when I go to work. Its been about a week since I installed the kit, so how long after does this stop? I know that this cannot be good for the bulb turning on and off quickly. Thanks

When you installed your ctr wing, did you completely remove the oem 3rd brake light, and if you did what did you put to cover the hole, or do you still have it on there?

oem is still there
its not connected wiring wise

the wires were run to the ctr wing to power that LED instead

it pretty much covers the OEM led but with tint u dont see it on the rear ;):cool:

what i DO have planned for the OEM brake light and the rear H bezel on the hatch for fall/winter should be pretty slick though:angel:
