I've been reading some threads here, and I notice all you guys here in the US can go well faster with your Civics. I'm limited to 190 km/h (about 116 Mph). In 5th my RPMz hits 6100 and thats it. Do US version have this problem.

I've managed to hit 210km/h...

Mind you, it took a LONG time to get that high!

yeah we are definitely not governed...all my friends who drive governed american cars are pretty impressed....

I don't think we're limited. But just like Medic said, it took a long time to pass the 200 mark. Usually once my car hit 180KM/H it will take forever to pass beyond 200KM/H. And it just way too much car on the HWY to proof it and my life and insurance rate is far more important than hit beyond 200KM/H.

Well, I live in the US and I can go 135mph!!! at redline, 6800rpm. Not only that, but it pulls nicely to that speed. From a stand still, it pulls all the way to 135. I had no idea the SiR's had lower limiter. Kayzeee!!!!:p

Ditto, it slows up around 130, but that's about it, it pulls nice all the way up to redline.

Living in the US I got mine up to 133 with 4 people in the car... but took awhile to reach that mark, and havent tried going 133+ alone.

I agree, I am in Canada, with a 2002 SiR and I have imagined I have been over 210km/h.

Do you have a 2003?

hehe...one time I did a 180 w/the handbrake in a parking lot, without telling my passengers! Oh man they were pissed...especially since the window was open and my friend got little burnt bits of rubber on his arm....

im from montraol and i have no problem getting my ep to 200kph +, and it gets there with no problems.

yeah they knew because we were doing it for the video camera, and it was on a airport road so everything was safe....

Actually, it took me 3.5 hrs. I only cruised at 130 for about a minute;)

that stretch of I-15 is great for topping the car out :) striaght, fairly smooth, not many places for cops to hide

The other day I got it up to 220km with no problems but then I shut it down because my woman was getting a little rattled.
