Just wondering if anyone knows and I am sure considering the B series interchangeability it's possible. But I was wondering if anyone has looked into getting the K20A2 head on the K20A3. I talked to my guy at the dealership and he said it was possible but didn't go into detail. Or even the RSX intake manifold on the SI engine.

the si already has the type s intake manifold.

I don't think the si has the rsx-s intake manifold. I think the runners on the type-s are longer. I could be wrong though?

It doesn't have the same intake manifold as the Type-S and the difference between the si and the rsx is the si intake manifold is aluminum. That is the only difference I know of between the rsx and the si engines. And the RSX engine has about 10 more lbs of torque. If anyone else knows what is different between the rsx and the si it would be appreciated. When I saw RSX I am not talking about the Type S motor. But I am talking about the Type S head.

The RSX-S head uses a 3-rocker vtec system where ours only uses a 2-rocker system. We only have vtec on the intake side, no exhaust side. In a honda tuning a couple months back they had a whole issue on the K20. I believe they were the ones who said that you couldnt just swap heads. I wouldnt do it anyways cause of the internals that need to be replaced in order to rev to the 7900 "redline"

someone will do this soon enough and if it goes ok with them then we can do it too but im not going to be the one to test it.

I read the article in Honda Tuning I will have to look and see I don't remember them saying you couldn't just swap heads. Well anyways I am sure it's possible.
