View Full Version : Just Bought JDM CTR boot.

hey, i just bought a jdm ctr boot for my ep. cost was 50 bucks. it wasnt that bad. the question i have is what do you people do that have the CTR boot to keep it up? use black electric tape? i also heard people using some sort of rubber. please give me feedback. thanks

imma use some small rubber bands to keep it up btw what kind of knob do you have?

i have rsx optional alluminum 5 speed shiftknob,

i also have the rsx optional aluminum shift knob. looks exactly like the jdm one except it has black lettering. got it off ebay for 45 bucks shipped

I used 2 small rubber O-Rings works like a charm and is actually held flush with the locking nut from my Type R knob(98 spec)

u dont need to hold it the boot up if u got a CTR boot. it sits nicely, no dangling around or anything... it would only look weird if u have a really really small shift knob. it sits prefectly in place if u got a TypeR knob or a Skunk or anything like that.

Oh well it didnt work on mine I had to use the o rings, because I didnt like having a 1 inch gap I wanted it flush, I have the CTR boot and Type R knob from a 98 Integra Type R
