I was on www.progressauto.com and was looking around. I came across this:

Question8 Will my springs "settle in" (wear in or drop a little more) after a while?

Answer8 No. Anybody that tells you "their brand" of springs need to "settle in" is really saying one of two things: 1) Their springs aren

Well. I put on Neuspeed, Susp. Tech., Eibach, and Tanabe springs on my accord

Guess what...
THEY ALL SETTLED. My accord was old too. Not new. I put the springs on and measured the distance from the wheel to the fender, center of wheel to the fender, the lowest part of the front airdam to the ground and markings on my garage. Then i did it again 6 months later

Every spring settled between 1/4 and up 1''!!! as with my SuspTech. Springs.

coicidence? probably not. Due to hard driving? Doubtful. Bad luck? maybe

Haven't noticed any settling w/ my H&R's, but I had a 95 Z28 w/ Eibachs that did settle a bit over a couple of days.

My eibach springs might have settled a little, but nothin i could tell.

Others i've talked to though, say there eibach's and other springs have up to 1/4 or 1/2 in.

Maybe it's not the springs that are settling like Progress said. Maybe it's the rubber suspension bushings.

Is it unreasonable to ask a dealer to replace bushings if car is still under warranty.

I think this would solve some bouncing problems I have with my car. I'm no mechanic but I think repacing busing might bring my handling back

If you have lowering springs or coil-overs the dealer won't replace them under warranty and you'll have to pay for them. If your car is stock height with no suspension modifications and you're having problems with you're bushings then they should definately replace them under warranty.
