Well I picked up my Civic SI tonight. I'm loving it so far. Whole different world compared to my vw's. Here are some pics I snapped quick.

I posted a farewell on the vortex and got nothing but flaming for buying a honda. Even guys I thought were above that still had a stupid comment. I hope this forum will be as helpful as the vortex was...because it looks like I'm here to stay :)

I'm an old schooler on the VWVortex (same userid) and I too was laughed at. But now I'm the one laughing, all the way down the track!

I still have a dub (2002 Passat GLS) and I do a lot in the dub community (www.quickvws.com and www.sflgtg.com are both mine). But I love this car.

I kinda figured you were into dubs hence the sn. I was showing your site to some dub friends of mine and they were ranting and raving about the sheer quality of the tutorials. I cant wait to tell them you're a dub guy also. They all came over and busted my chops for buying a honda, but then admitted to liking it after seeing it.

I too have been converted! (which if you know me, was once an impossibility) My friends are still somewhat in shock and awe. All I hear is "You bought a Honda????? Never thought I would see the day."

Now break her in so you can enjoy her. ;) You might need to change your underpants the first time you run it smoothly to redline. It is VERY un-dublike.
