raised compression

u gues i am one of the few ep owners who want to go all motor. so my question is will the hondata chip work with raised compression(type r pistons). if not can you explain to me why not.

It most likely won't. When Hondata tunes their program, they're working with a modified (bolt ons) Si or just a stock one. The increased compression plays a lot into the timing and fuel mappings required to make the engine run well without detonation.
