I'm running a 2.25 midpipe and stock exhaust for the ultimate sleeper look. I'm also planning on anodizing the FMIC black to make it really low key.

Steve

Why not fabricate a liquid-air IC setup? it could easily fit where the stock airbox was. You'd just have to route the filter elsewhere. This would drastically shorten IC pipe length, provide more airflow to the radiator, and be ultra stealth.

I've been watching all these turbo kits come out and I'm surprised that none have gone liquid-air considering the ridiculous pipe length required to get to the nose. I guess cost is a factor or possibly people are swayed by myths of liquid-air on a street car but if it's set up correctly it'll outcool an air-air.

This is an informative thread.

Lets not have to lock it down. Keep it friendly.

BTW nice. Even though I dont like graphics I can see the advertising needs and can respect the turbo.

Lol, something about this guy's car tells me he isn't really going for the stealth approach....

I'd probably hit up at least a 2.5"-2.75" midpipe depending on much I was boosting....but since you look like you've gone all out I'd just flat out buy an aftermarket turboback exhaust system. Get some volks for the track too :) My only complain about turbo 4 cylinders is that they all sound like raspy pieces of shit with the exception of the boxer engines which for some reason sound somewhat like domestics.

Anyway.....fucking nice ass car man :)

Have you replaced your clutch yet? Cause you're also overdue for some more dyno / 1/4 track runs too

How was the fitment of the IC in the Kit as I am getting a turbo in the next couple of weeks. Also do you have any pics of the back of the Kit?~AJ

The clutch is next on my list. I *should* be getting some video of me at the track next wednesday if all goes well. I'm heading to Cybernation tomorrow for a follow up visit and such.

stock grill fits back in the bc3 bumper with minor modifications. the holes are actually predrilled on the kit i got. the intercooler im using is HUGE. its about the same size as a skyline core. fitment is fine being that to get the front bumper to fit we had to remove the front bumper suipport. so with all that extra room the piping and intercooler had no probs with fitment. i dont have any recent still pics. i havent had the car all week....and its not worth taking any pics of the car while its all apart. i will have full specs on the turbo kit later today as we will be tuning and testing diff. turbo's on the car. though i dont have all the specs on the kit...i can say that is being built by south florida performance(SFP). as for my rims...currently im on 18x7.5 (19.2lbs) REV model II in the hypersilver finish.

Not at all, that's why I was considering it. Now I'm just going to order that lower race grill to hide it.
