Its actually for sale. I'm replacing it with a Momo knob/boot combo. $35 shipped is my price...at least for the ephatchers. If it doesn't sell, off to eBay.

that looks hot! i have the black one, ehhh. the knob itself is no biggie really. it is like you are shifting with the end of a broomstick.

Would you recommend it over a stock knob? Have you tried any others that you think are better? I'm looking for a new knob, not really sure what makes one better than another other than looks.

some guy on ClubSi Canada forum was selling one for like 70 bucks Cdn. It looks ok but I still dig the stock red stitching one.

i think the stock knob is an excellent knob. i just couldn't pass up getting a spoon one for 20 bucks. so the spoon one is in for now until i get sick of it. i kept my stocker, good thing too. oh, and i won't sell the spoon knob when i'm done with it, so don't ask.:D if you don't like the stock one get another one. you just have to ask yourself what's more important looks, functionality/ergonomics, or weight?

That looks HOT!!! How do you like it compared to stock? Was it easy to install? I think I'm gonna have to get one of those. BTW, what is different between your ctr boot and the stock si boot?

Thanks for the pic! Now it seems so obvious when they are side by side out of the car like that. Do you have to modify anything to get an aftermarket knob on the ctr boot ?

Anyone know where I could get one of those ctr boots?

Makross

Ebay has some or you can try showstoppers or inline four

Kwazie

it is very easy to install.... the boot all you need is a screw driver and they knob just screws on and when you get it on tight you put on the sticker of the numbers and bam your done... :)

Does anyone know why the Type-R shift knob costs $200? It says JDM but the ctr is 6 speed? How could a shifter be worth this much.... anyone used one of these?

http://www.inlinefour.com/jdmtypshif.html

Looks good but I think it's a bit pricey.

Kwazie I think you're shift boot/knob setup looks awesome and I would do the same with mine but that spoon knob looks like it wouldn't be very comfortable with how the top is flattened. Doesn't seem like it would fit in your hand naturally... is this a problem? I would love to have my console look like yours but I don't want to lose any comfort.

You know... I never really thought about it. I'm gonna go drive my car right now and see how I do it.
