I want to build a removable subwoofer box. one i can lay in the hatch "trunk" during the weekends and take out during the week. Is this at all feasable?

Yes, it is possible. If you want to do a trunk tire well enclosure, you will have to build it out of fiberglass and MDF-and make it so you can get your fingers under it for removal. The best way is to just build or buy an enclosure with terminal cups on the back where the amp speaker wire connects, and use a quick disconnect banana plug so you can pop it out when you need to.
