Thanks for moving this...saved me the trouble of deleted/reposting.

I'm going to write up a Hondata review....
I guess i should put it here, then delete this thread?

I dont see anywhere in rate/review w/ a category this mod would fall under.

Damn i wanna be able to shift up to 8200 rpm. but don't want to spend so much money for it.

im kinda tired of always losing becuase all the cars i race can go upwards of 8000.....6800 doesnt do our car justice. If I sell my alpine, I would gladly buy the hondata. The hardest part would be waiting for 3 days without the ep. that would drive me crazy. seriously

that's just the thing...I *don't* have money....lol.
i got this hondata ecu for $100, and got to keep my stock ecu too!

the hondata feels nice...i do feel a bump in power, though slight.
but the extra rev's are niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

guy over at honda-tech totalled his ep...

when are you going turbo? Because hondata will eventually have a tune for a turboed ep, so you could get a discount on it since you already have a tuned hondata ecu.
By the way, did you just slap the ecu in and it was good to go? I thought it wouldn't work, unless you had the correct key.

have to get your immobilizer reprogrammed at honda dealership if the ecu isnt original to your car (ie: if you buy it used).

luckily a member of ephatch hooked me up w/ that, thanks eric.
took 5 mins to swap ecu's and another 5 to reprogram.
then you have to let your car idle for 10 mins to relearn the idle.
that was the longest 10 mins of my life! :D

i always thought hondata raised it to like 7800 rpms or somethin? just wondering has it always been 8200 or is that new?, also i think hondata could possibly be worth the money fi tehre was an on/off switch, which they could have easily made
