If you can afford to be w/o a new car for a few more months it'll be well worth it. I got mine for 15300 with fogs, mud guards, mats and an extended warr. up to 100,000 miles. I also waited until january 2003 to pick my ride (2002 si).

I have done some research on the dealer's net cost position for an 03 Si. With current incentives ($750 marketing incentive and a $570 holdback) the dealers net position is $16,502. You should be able to use this (plus the options you want) as a basis of what to offer the dealer. 03 Si's are being advertised by two dealers here in Tulsa currently for $16,995.

Additionally, Honda is currently offering 1.9% financing on new Civics. If you will be financing your EP, this financing is a great deal and will save many $'s over your loan term (depending on the market interest rate used in a comparison, the present value savings can range from $800 to $1,500 over a 5 year loan term for a $16,000 loan!). What is interesting about Honda is - they do not offer a rebate or price reduction option if you do not take their financing! This is not the norm as other manufactures typically offer the option of either below rate financing or a cash rebate in lieu of the financing.

As I am in the market for a new Si, I would like to hear price comments or stratagies from others.
