rear license plate bracket

I just got my license plates and when I tried to put them on, I realized that it doesn't ft properly. I went to a couple of local honda dealers and found out that there is supposed to be a black plastic bracket for the rear license plate. There is no part number anywhere and I don't know where to get it. Do you guys have this bracket?

I haven't recieved my liscense plates yet either, however, I do have a bracket that came in the trunk. I think you should have recieved the bracket when you purchased your car.

Unless I'm missing something, I'm positive that my car came with it installed already. So you're tags were just on the paint with nothing behind it? That's weird. I did notice, however, that there are only 2 holes to attach the plate with instead of 4.

Mine came with it. For anyone who has plates is there a way to mount the front plate without the ugly black placstic thing. I think it looks like crap.

I have my front mount that I dont need. Not sure if it will fit on back??? Its up for grabs to who ever wants it.

Just take the front one totally off. I think it looks like crap anyway. I took mine off right after I got my car.

It's illegal in my state to not have one, but I think that most cops don't care unless you get pulled over for something else and they are being an ass.

You don't need any bracket for the rear plate, I took they black plastic piece out and just screwed the plate into the two holes.

im not going to put my plates on at all as long as i can because in LA thare is cameras at the stop lights that take your picture if you run the red and i do sometimes already got a fat 270$ dollar ticket in my last car. I know it is not good to run red lights but sometimes your going to fast and it is safer to go through than slam on your breaks

oh yea about the front license plate put it in your window and take the black thing off the front bumper cops are usually cool with that

I took my front plate off of my EG, and set it against my windshield. I got pulled over for it twice but never ticketed. My friend on the other hand, got 3 tickets for doing the same thing. I suppose it depends on where you are.

I've already gotten a ticket for no front license plate even though it was in the window. If I get another ticket for it I have to pay for the other fine too cause it was suspendid.

Yeah so if anyone figures out a way to do the front without the plastic piece let me know.

an you use those plasti tie things and tie it on the grill or maybe lots of velcroe?

I'll have to try that cause I don't want the plastic bracket on there. My friend has a spec v with the plastic bracket and it looks like crap.
