Resonator Question

got my custom 2.25" mid pipe and didnt want my resonator...so now i bought a tanabe muffler and its a little too loud for me so if i reinstall a resonator will it be less loud and were can i buy 1 back?

with the muffler it sounds kinda raspy after 3k rpm...does a muffler need breaking in? anything to do with the silencer? something wrong with the install?

resonator or silencer will quiet it down a bit, but yer gonna have to pay to get in welded in. Exhaust components quiet down a bit after they get soem buildup inside them. Mine does still sound raspy when I take off first thing on cold mornings. good luck
