I bought these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2421250025&category=33710) about a year ago. They are a little brighter than stock. I sometimes have people flash me...I can't figure out why, they aren't that damn bright. I can take pics maybe tonight to show you guys how they look.

I've been through many aftermarket light bulbs and I have finally come across one that I will stick to forever! SilverStars!!! They use stock wattage and will not fry your wires. I have also used Nokya for a while too. But they blew out to quick! Silverstars... The best for your money!

Yeah the Silverstars are great. I had PIAAs before and they were too purple for me. I picked up the Silverstars for 12 bucks each.

Not all OEM HIDs are blueish. Bummers (BMW) are the ones that are notoriously blue. Audis are white though the new A4 is blueish. Mercedes and Lexus are in bet. old Audi white and BMW blue.

I used nokya and PIAA in the past and they looked nice, but didn't last for long and the PIAA's are just too expensive to be buying all the time, so I swapped to Silverstars soon after getting the EP and I think they are great.

Does any local parts store carry the silverstars? If not, where can I get them cheap online?

No no, audi's are blue from some angles... they change from different angles, but straight on they are white, that is true... Oh new A4, yeah, u r right... BMW, yes, very blue, my dad has em... so nice! mercedes and lexus are kinda bluish, more just really bright.... I want some blue color to my bright headlights... any suggestions?

I have had my nokya's for over a year with no problems. Just don't ever touce the bulbs and you should not have any problems.

i'd like to know where to get the silverstars? can you just pick them up at a local auto parts store? or is it like a special order deal ie: website or wait for delivery at a store?

I paid $40 for mine at AutoZone... AutoZone is the only place I know that carry them.

I picked up my silverstars at discount auto.

I had 2 sets of nokyas and one set lasted about a year, the next only a few months, I was very careful about not touching the glass, I think they are very sensitive to vibration or something, going up and down bumpy roads may have done them in.

I agree with you on the piaa, but these nokya have served me well, on this car and for over three years on my last car.

here's some bad pics of mine...sorry, I was in abit of a hurry last night
The smaller lights, above the headlights, are actually aftermarket also. They are xenon bulbs. I had those first before I put the nokyas in the headlights. They looked like a light blue, but now with the nokya there it almost looks stock.

Thanks for the pics. Is it me or do they look more purple than blue (especially in the last pic)? Also, what's the wattage on the Nokya's...Do they use the stock wattage like the silverstars?

02SilverSiHB

I ordered Philips xtra light bulbs from a place online in England. It took 2 weeks to get them but I can say THEY ARE THE BEST. No blue just pure pure white. I've been through 2 sets of Razo premium and hyper whites, a set of polarg hyper whites and raybrig metal whites. The philips are by far the best. I'll snap some pics tonight. I'm running piaa super white leds and the philips looks very clean.

Here's a way to get them to show off even brighter like in 02SilverSiHB car. Crouch down in front (or side) till your eye (and camera) is inline with the path of the light. You'll be almost blinded by the light at this time. Take a photo.
