my question is about the cruise control. It seems when i'm doing 70-75 on it and I hit a bump the cruise just dis-engages. Is that a factory mal-function?

When you hit the bump doing 70-75 mph does your foot touch the brake or gas pedal??;) :D

i'm not really sure...thats what i thought at first because i was alittle bit sleepy...but could it also be a safety precaution?

It will disengauge whenever you tap the clutch or brake pedal or hit the cancel button on the wheel
