Has anyone found any other products that will eliminate or change the rev limiter OTHER than hondata????

I'm not sure but I think JET has a similar program for half the hondata price but NO 8K redline.

You don't just pull some mystical wire to get rid of your rev limiter. The rev limit is a fuel cutoff point preprogrammed into the ecu. The ONLY way to change the revlimit w/o PAYING for it would be to learn how to reprogram OBD 2 basemapps.
Even if there was a way to pull the limiter you would fuck up your motor revving that high w/o advanced timing hondata gives you. I'm sure hondata probably does some other shit to ensure that your motor wont detonate. Just buy the flash....you'll accually GAIN power this way.

Any standalone system will be able to adjust the rev limiter. However, none that I know of are out yet.

payin a 1000 bucks CDN for a reflash seems a lil pricey
i mean all they do is FLASH ur ecu with a program LOL
besides doesnt do much for full IHE combo i heard
waitin for something else or a cheaper price :D

after seeing, hearing, and driving a car with hondata with I/E i was just amazed, completely diff car, i didnt see spending that money either at first until i was behind the wheel and the car not only screams but kicks ya back in you seat sooo i just ordered it with heat gasket today...i cant wait to get it back in 3 days, i just hope that the 4th being this week wont delay my order

You spend a grand on a stand alone system/Aem ect.. Hondata is only $600. Stand alones arent just a flash, you actually program your fuel system to comply w/ the parts on your ride. Turbo ect..

I'm trying to look for the site with the dyno results on the hondata. Basically it gave aprx. 10-12 hp & 8-10 lbs tq from 2000rpm all the way up to 7300 rpm then tappers down to the 7700 rpm redline. It also eliminates the lull before and after the torque surge around 5k. This has got to make a huge difference. This should completely change how the car drives. Also, it will void the shiznit out of the warranty. I'll try to find that dyno and post it.
