I went to Lane automotive locally here after I heard they had
one kit available and grabbed it. The braided lines will be another
week. Then it's install time. Will post more pics of the kit installed.
I got this at $610 all together and think it's the best price out there
for any big brake kit available. The rear rotors will be upgraded
to match the front size. Wilwood said that it would be another
six months before they release a rear setup for the Si(R). So will
likely wait till then to have a good match.:p

Is that $610 USD? or CD?

That is cool. I hope the put a package deal together for the front and rears. In 6 months I should have my 17" rims on so I sould be able to get them in.

I bought them here in MI. So it's USD.

You can probably get a set of brembo's or similar larger rotors,
just don't think they would match up as nice. Until then I just
may paint the rear calipers black, I have the caliper paint kit
along with the Hawk pads for the stock setup. Just wondering
if the race pads supplied with the wilwood kit is compareable?
They are raybestos. Anyone stick with the pads offered with the
kit? tks.

That's a great price too! What size are they? (Did I miss that?)

Excellent deal! Was that price with the pads and brake lines? One thing that I noticed is different between my setup and those is that those are the billet calipers as opposed to the forged one. It shouldn't really make much difference other than the forged one are a little stronger and a little lighter. For that price though, you did really good!

I'm tempted to get the rear kit too, but I don't really want to have to run a full-sized spare. Having to resort to Fix-a-Flat is completely out of the question.

As far as pad go, I opted for Hawk HPS vs. DocofMind's recommendation of EBCs. If they're the ones that come with the Wilwood "off the shelf" kit, I haven't really heard good things about them. It might be worth getting Hawks or Axis pads down the line if you're unhappy with the Wilwood Poly-Matrix pads.
