WELL ITS BEEN ABOUT A MONTH NOW SINCE MY LAST POST AND I CAN SAY ITS FOR A GOOD REASON. ALL MY TIME HAS BEEN INVESTED IN RESEARCHING AND FABRICATING A TURBO FOR MY 02 SI. THE LAST COMPONENT WILL BE HERE BY THE 24TH OF JULY. IT IS MY EXHAUST TURBO MANIFOLD. WHEN I FIRST STARTED I THOUGHT I WOULD SPEND ABOUT 1500.. WHOA!!! WAS I WRONG. IM UP TO ABOUT 2000 AND THE MANIFOLD IS 460 SHIPPED SO MAKE THAT ABOUT 2500 GIVE OR TAKE AND THAT DOESN'T COUNT THE ENDLESS SURFING OF THE WEB AND CALLING AND CR*P OF SPEED SHOPS AND LOCATING REBUILD COMPONENTS FOR THE TURBO. BUT!!! NOW I KNOW WHERE TO GET ALL THE CRAP.. I LOOK TO BE ABLE TO PUT THIS IN AND TUNE IT WITH MY GREDDY E-MANAGE AND FINALLY MAKE AN ADDITIONAL ONE AND E-BAY THE THING.... I WILL POST THE PICS OF THE SYSTEM SO FAR LATER TODAY...

Is that just for parts or with install cost? Also did you upgrade the postions and rods? I know when I do my Turbo I want to do a sage II since I want to upgrade my internals but I am not to sure yet how much that is going to set me back if I do the install.

i have no upgraded internals. the car is bone stock with about 800 miles on it now. if you live in florida SFP will work a deal for you if you wanted it installed at their shop. if not 4000.00 is the price of the kit alone.

Nice. I've been thinking about a custom turbo set-up also. Where did you get the exhaust manifold at? Do you already have all the piping and intercooler ready also? How much do you plan on boosting?

Hey guys... how is the drivability on your turbo EPs??? I mean, is it still a daily driver, or is it now less reliable... I have had very limited and bad experience riding in a custom turboed car... so any opinions/ thoughts would be great. I know Steve, when last I asked you, you were still in the final tuning stages... also... what fuel management is everone using???

The car is running great for me. Still a little rich, but I'm tuning it myself with the Apexi.

I'm using the stock ECU with Cybernation's Black Magic piggy back system.

my car drives like its stock when not in boost. it idles perfect and starts exactly the same way it did when i purchased it. the a/c works and i have no problems with the fuel system. im using the stock ecu for now till the new hondata comes out. the car is as reliable as it was when i bought it.

Thanks Steve, thanks Revwheels-

Revwheels, how many PSI boost are you running? You've probably said so before a TON of times... but that's interesting that you could run a boosted car with the stock ECU... or is there a sensor shield in the kit you purchased?

the car is on the dyno as we speak. numbers will be posted either tonite or 1st thing tomorrow morning. we are installing the greddy e-01 boost controller and the dyno session will begin. we will tune the car to 7psi. i will post details soon.

thanks i like yours too. the car is still running alittle rich, i havent gotten an s-afc yet. it loads up alittle at idle, but otherwise not too bad. i also havent gotten new plugs yet, rev hard said they were going to send me some because of all the problems i had with missing parts from their kit. im running about 7psi, maybe alittle higher, its just under .5bar.
