EP33

On a recent trip to Nor Cal, I stopped off at Modern Performance. I got one word for their EP, Pull. The damn car pulls like a freight train. All power is seemless and as smooth as a jet airplane. And then there are the sounds. The Greddy blow off valve whistles ever so sweet, and in boost, the Greddy EVO/turbo combo sounds like a fat assed fouth of July bottle rocket taking off from the ground. . .ffffffffffffffffssssssssssssttttttttt whistle whistle (blow off) and then again and again NICE.

That's my EP sporting the I've never been this far from home look:D

I did record one run through the gears. It went so damn fast I was recording the sky and floor. He couldn't open it up more as we seen a CHP & a local cop. He chilled after that.

Hey G...great pics!

The tires are Nitto Neo Gen 205/45VR16s and I have no idea what I'm putting to the wheels. The A2 is supposed to dyno at 160 whp and the Greddy kit adds another 50. Who knows if the Evo cat-back helps (I ran the car once with an open downpipe up the street and back and burned the tires from boost in second gear (3500 RPM) all the way through the top of third--and my face felt like it was pulling away from my skull :D)

Thanks again for stopping by and I hope to see some more of you guys soon!

oh, okay, so it's your car. How much boost are you running. I'm surprised they didn't give you dyno numbers since they had to tune it.

I believe that was established in the very first line of this post.

How much boost are you running
.6 kg/cm2 (About 8.5 lbs)

Who is "they?" Do you mean the shop that installed it? Well, I AM THE SHOP THAT INSTALLED IT. And nothing had to be tuned. GReddy did all the tuning. They supply a fully programmed e-Manage computer with the kit. I believe all of this was established in my post entitled "My swap got a little boost."

Nice setup, I like the e-management it comes with. You said only about mid 2k for it shipped? That's very good

How do you like the Neo Gen's? I have heard very good things about them, but was thinking of going Toyo T1S. My friend is like...nooo nooo...get the Neo Gen, but he can't give me a good reason why other than he "heard" they are good. Lol, oddly I was looking for a little more than that.

So what made you pick them?

...these tires can withstand a massive amount of abuse in wet- and dry- weather conditions. During hard cornering the 3D multiwave sipes do all they can to keep tire contact to the ground, which will result in even tire wear. Traditional sipes don't provide this type of contact with the pavement. There's evn an improved wheel guard that helps protect your rims aainst scrapes of dings when you're trying to parallel park. these tires are mud- and snow- rated.... ---Ricky Chu SS June 2003
These wheels are suppose to be pretty cool, Nitto claims a camber kit isn't needed because the wheels are made especially to contact and grip evenly to the pavement, they call them a drifter's dream.... I think from what I have read and heard on them they seam pretty cool, a newer/better tire breed almost, however I would still get a camber kit aswell. :)

If you watch closely you'll see us fly by the first cop we passed on the right side of the road...that's why I let off. The second time EP33 tried to record all he got was the floor and the sky. I didn't let off that time. ;)
