Cybernation Kit is now $3995 and comes with A/F and Boost gauges, 550cc injectors, Apexi - II and a very important built in 3 inch test pipe (a $300 value, with other kits you will need to buy an additional test pipe once your cat blows out and it will). Our kit is also scalable just add pistons and rods and take the power up to 350whp. Sleeve the block and go nuts. The same kit is good for stage I, II and III with no other needed parts for the kit just upgrade the engine internals.

I'm sure it's because of the tuning involved...well worth it if you ask me.

also, when you have 5 people working on one car nobody knows what the other person did or didnt do and then parts get left loose and then it turbs into " did you tighten that or did I". 1 man jobs come out best!!

So the cat will blow, for emission puposes. Can I take off the test pipe and put on the cat for emissions testing? Or could I still get the kit, but run a lower boost level?

I just want to make sure you know what you're getting into. The jrsc will never give you the power a turbo has. I owned one before and they fall on their ass after about 5krpms. They are good for some low end and that's it. And don't even think of going over 8lbs of boost. The amount of heat that is generated isn't worth it. You can't have an intercooler on those things. Not too mention the higher boost can make the car over heat. If you get, just save the extra dough and get hondata, you will be so glad you did. JRSC are good, but you have to accept it right now, that it won't give you the power a turbo will

thinking of a rev hard...how much is hondata alone?
considering it would be ideal with any turbo application.

www.ultrarev.com (Formerly CivicShop)
Greddy Kit: $2,399.95
Greddy IC Kit: $720.72

Not sure if they're good prices, but, considering everything else I've gotten from UltraRev has been the cheapest prices around, I'm assuming it is.

do turbo prices go down over time? cause for about the same, maybe 100-300 difference you can get a k2.

Go to www.city-speed.com and you can get a good deal on the Greddy kit. $2300.00 and $700.00 for the intercooler. So basically $3k for the complete kit. Then all you really need or might want are a couple gauges with mounting hardware, a turbo timer, and BOV

Got my Greddy kit from a different vendor, but same price.

How much is the revhard/spearco kit for greddy, and is this better/worse/same as the greddy IC?

StrangeShadow
03-23-2004, 01:31 PM
yeah, Ive been wondering about the dyno differences myself. Cause the first ppl to get the greddy turbo went with a spearco or revhard ic. I'm wondering if those actually produce better numbers than the new greddy ic, or vise versa, plus the quality of each too.

Plus, the revhard turbo comes with the hondata flash. Is that same deal offered with the Greddy turbo, now that hondata has a flash for it?
