Yeah, me and a buddy went down to Ocean Shores (NorthWest) and we were hauling ass half the time. I must have put 30-40 miles around 100 mph, sometimes 100+ mph-- the rest was 60-80 mph
My buddy was getting crazy good gas mileage too, he has a 89 5.0 mustang, and he got like 300 miles to the tank!!!! he has 373 rear end, intake, straightpipes and other random stuff. I dont know what it was! He was getting on it too --- crazy gas mileage for such a old V8
I got the Borla Header, and Borla catback - AEM cai - motor mounts - 17" on khumo 45 series tires (hair taller than stock)
I was running on 92 octane gas aswell. Dunno if 87 Unleaded would have done better or not, I'll have to test it sometime.
k20a3 is a good road trip engine! Btw I did the math and I would have ended up getting around 409 miles on that tank, give or take a few miles.
