whats a fair price for a good intake? Im lookin at getting an AEM CAI is it worth 200? Or should i get teh Comptech intake. WIll spending the extra $$$ be worth it or is it gonna be like 1-200 dollars for .5 hp?

i would go with aem they are a good company and you never have to worry about thinking that maybe you made the wrong decision.

I have the Typhoon from K&N; not a cold air but still damn good. Only $141 dollars shipped, too. Some guys on this site have been complaining about the AEM's poor fitment on our cars. I have not heard this complaint re: Injen. Both probably make similar power.

I'm waiting for the comptech...that or injen would be my intake of choice.

Injen and AEM are both good quality. Injen makes more power than AEM though. I would go with Injen IMO.

all of them don't seem worth the power gains. i'm gonna wait for a good drop in element and stay stock looking. they are all good systems but for that 3-5hp, it's not that serious. i made those mistakes a long time ago when my other car was n/a.

if you look the injen intake has more gain at one time but as soon as the engine gets hot you lose that power the AEM on the other hand has a much more consistant gain all the way across
