i have 17X7 size rims and have kumho ecsta 205/40/17 tires on them. they were off of my old civic but i am planning on putting them on my ep. I want a 45 series tire and my local shop says they can get me cooper z rated tires in that size for 109.99 ea. i have never heard of cooper tires does anyone know if they are good?? and also am i gonna have any fitment problem onto the rim, i really dont think so but i wanna be positive, thanks !!

I haven't heard of any problems with Cooper. The "45" part just means the tire will look thicker on the wheel, the worst that will happen is that your speedo may be off by .0001 MPH.... anyone please correct me if I am wrong.
Here's their website...:

Cooper Home Page (http://www.coopertires.com/us/en/corporate/default.asp)

Hope this helps!

Check out Tire Rack's deals. I got my Yokohama AVS ES 100s for $430 shipped to my door. Then mounting and balancing. You can get better tires than "Cooper".

They're great! I'm running 215 45 R17's and they stick to road great!

I wonder how they'll do at the track...

I have these tires and they are the shit, for all around use. They are quiet, handle, wear well, priced right, and look good!

i looked at the tire rack and they have great prices. it looks like i can get a better tire for the same price as the cooper tires. if i have a 17x7 rim with 205/40/17 tires on them would a 215/45/17 tire fit onto that, i dotn know much about tires...
