I like it. How much? How does it sound? And how well will that finish hold up in IL?

Ok found price.

$550 if you preorder before the 14th
$700 After that date

They are saying it gives you 6 more horses. The $500 range is about right I think but $700 is way to much. I will wait and see if a group buy comes along on this.

only 6hp more?? that doesnt sound like alot for 500.

but it does look pretty nice.

how can you find out all the catback info for our cars as far as gains in hp and all?? just to compare

I can actually get a friend of mine to start up a group buy if u guys wanted, but so far... to many ppl favor the either the greddy evo, hks, comptech, or skunk2. The price should be less than 500 if a gb happens.

6hp is about as much as you're gonna get on a small displacement vehicle (under 3.0 litres)

Furthermore, Honda has really crossed their T's and dotted Their I's with their engines. Just about everything works to perfection.

The gains probably only come in the form of the enhanced mid-pipe and the resonator.

Our muffler has already been used on cars dynoing over 200hp at the wheels (230 ish crank HP) so clearly IT CAN flow!.

In order to compare exhausts, they would all have to be tested on the very same car, at the same time(same day at least), with consistent weather conditions, on the same dyno.

Thats the problem, every tuner tests in different ways, so its hard to take the word of one over another

yeah will....your right on that honda always finds ways to top themselves.

i was just curious about gains because i have the skunk2 catback and wanted to know how much it gave me. i know the older civics the gains were more significant when you would strap on an exhaust.

i have the complete setup i/h/e (hopefully installed by the end of this week!) and i was just curious as to the gains in hp and torque i had with those. i know its not gonna be huge but there will be some gains there.

thats all. ;) :D

Well if some one can give us a review in this I might by it. If some one starts a group buy next month I might be able to pull it off since I get 3 pay checks that month.

I would not expect someone to get rid of their aftermarket for anouther aftermarket. I am just looking to get rid of my OEM one. How does the HKS sound and is it the duel tip?

Does anyone know who manufactures this exhaust for Neuspeed. Maybe Magnaflow?

well i just orderd one and its still $549 . i called them first to make sure and the guy told me his national sales rep was out of town and would be back on tuesday and he would probably be updating the price to $700. so if anyone still wants this exhaust get it now before it goes up in price.

The neuspeed looks exactly like the magnaflow. People who have magnaflow say its bad ass. The only difference is in the power gains. one persone reported 10 hp peak increase and 10-15 tq throughout most the rpm range. The magnaflow is about 320 shipped too. Just something to think about.

What I meant to ask is; does anyone know who actually designs and manufactures Neuspeed's exhaust systems?

Hey David, its kinda off topic but I have the borla cat back and header, I am so happy with them, good quality, good price, nice sound, nice gains, easy install, fun. if there is anyone out there who cant make up his/her mind I definitely recommend the Borla setup, good stuff
