Does anywon know EXACTLY what this kit will look like? Is similar to the CTR or is it the same kit on that white EP with the Lucky Stripe looking paint job from a Canadian auto show?

There are a couple of posts around with a TON of pics...(thanks!!) They are fairly recent... don't have them at my fingertips, but if you search, you should get 'em.:)

I would assume this means no Type-R this year.

I want the wing too. This is a good way for a dealership to get some money. If one of them do a group buy on a wing they would do good I would think.

Let us know. I think I am going to be good for a upgrade next month because I get an extra pay check. I am going to have to see what comes out in group buys.

Party!!!11!
Woo hoo wings for everyone! But does it disturb anyone else that we (the US) are the last to get them?
Oh well, do you think the prices will be similar to those in canadia?

Anyone know how much lower it will be?
I had dropped with the tein sport springs and I don't want to hit speed bumps and such.
I am definitely getting the wing and sides! :p

I'll buy the wing, too. But I'll have to wait until it's discounted on Honda Accessory. I'll just feel so ashamed. Face it, at MSRP of what, $18,600 now (was $19,400), the "GFX" option will come with the carbon fiber trim kit inside the car, the body kit, some crap emblems and I hear the worst news is, just rumored, that if they add new wheels, they will either be the 6-spoke 15" option they have now, or the old Si 15" wheels. Now, all this will raise the sticker up to about $25,000, at least. So how could they justify this and have a Type-R? No, Type-R, ever.

A fellow engineer told me that the tuning is too tight for the normal US roads and the normal "Civic Owner". They are afraid my wife's going to go buy a Type- R for $30,000, and then complain about the loud noises (no sound insulation), no sunroof, no factory AC, no cruise control, hard as a brick ride, 6 gears to go through (what no automatic thingie?), and oh my god, we have to put Super in the tank? My wife can't even gas her Civic, it stays on empty, if she drives, it's to the store and back. Can you imagine what a CTR with all that compression would do with carbon build-up from short trips?

Worst, most of us guys wouldn't afford it. I tried to get a ITR, but when I did find one, they wanted $32,000, and there was a bidding war. Of course, you can buy one in VA Beach with 17k miles, yellow, for $18,000 now. If a Civic Type-R came over, it would be 500 units, and it would be $30,000 delivered, I'll bet. This means, if you borrow $30,000, assuming you don't owe more than the EP is worth, that comes out to $525 / month for 60 months at 1.9%, no money down. Get $2,000 left after paying off your car, put down an additional $8,000 and you'll only pay $350.00 / month at 1.9%, 60mos. Depressing. I'm paying $270 a month for the EP with $1500 down. Friends, I love the versatility of my hatch, but for $350+ per month, I'm buying a S2000 or a CL Type-S. Hello Comptech.

I hope the US won't discont. the kit like they did with Canada. Groupbuy or not, once it's out I'll buy it from the dealer. Lets hope it won't cost us an arm and a leg. My friend just bought a 03 Accord, and they was charging him $500 for a spoiler, I was like wtf. I hope that is the cost of the labor and part. Cut it down to 350 tops MSRP and I'll be happy.
