Was wondering if anyone has/had any complaints about the power of their EP. Mine seems wicked slow. Although I only have 300 miles on it. Does it break in and get a bit faster. It's stock at the moment. My biggest complaint is no exh. v-tec. Wasn't aware of this when I bought the car.

How fast were you expecting? Well, don't push your car that hard for the first 500-1000 miles.

Haven't been pushin it too bad. Just a quick blast every now and then. Just was expecting more from the new motor design. Then I read down the posts and saw that everyone's is gettin a bit better with alittle age. I am very used to turbo cars, Talon, GVR4's, had them both......Thanx

well i really hate to tell ya but u aint ever gonna get the snap that you get from a turbo car from a N/A car since that is pretty much the whole point of a turbo in the first place. Give it time and you will see better performance and IMO an AEM cold air intake does wonders!!

AEMs intake did wonders for my car, also continued to get stronger right up to 5000 miles. Welcome! I believe I'm quoting another member (and Tenacious D) when I say: Fuck her gently.

... after about 6500 miles or so .. mine seems a lot faster... short ram and mid pipe.
