I love the Gram lights 57 Pros (2 piece model) but they're a little pricey for me right now. I found these on a couple of sites and appearently they just came out (straight from Japan). Note the logo and how it looks. They're priced between the Grams and Rota Attacks. As far as weight they're quoted at 13lbs for 15" to 17lbs for the 17"s which leads me to believe they are cast. The only finishes I can find are the grey-silver and gold like the Gram Lights. I need ya'lls input on the Grams, Rotas, or these bad boyz.

the clear finish on the wheel looks different compared to the real deal (like a Rota C8 vs Mugen MF8/Volk CE28n)

The Volks have a certain texture to them that Rota cannot seem to get right:D

those do look good. aren't the real deal grams cast anyway? i don't think they are forged.

yes, gram lights are cast. someone said you can get them forged if you want, but i don't see how. you'd probably have to talk to rays directly to see if forged are available.

I thoguht the Gram Light 57C(THESE (http://www.machiii.net/machiii/html/wheels/volk/Gramlight57C.html)) were cast, and the Gram Light 57 Pro (THESE (http://www.machiii.net/machiii/html/wheels/volk/Gramilight57Pro.html)) were forged. I'm not sure though:o

Great input! I was afraid this thread would end up getting ignored. Keep it coming. When it comes wheels, it's hard to find what you really want and how much you want to pay for them. And It's really hard to beat the real deal Rays. These wheels are from a Japanese company called "A Tech" and the model is called"Final Speed". If you do a Google search you'll find sites mostly in Japanese I don't know of the Rays are half cast and half forged, hence the two peice design, or if the only forged ones are the "57F" models which I've been told are indeed custom ordered by size, offset etc.. And as far as the finish on the Rotas: I agree, the Rays have the most handsome finish of most any wheel available to the public. Maybe I'll be bold and go for the A Techs and post pics and let you guys tear at it with your Jedi JDM powers.:D What color would suit a Vivid Blue: The silver or gold?
If any body needs the links to the sites let me know.

either one and post the link anyway.

yeah i read somewhere there actually was a forged gram model, most likely the pros. they certainly have the price of a forged wheel.

I'm trying to picture the gold on Blue. Anybody know any good example of that color combo?

Thanks for posting info on these wheels. I've been debating on ordering a set of Gram Lights 57Cs for a while and basically the only thing stopping me is the price, those wheels are a nice looking alternative!
