Hey eveyone, I gotta few questions for you guy's, i'm thinkin about puttin together a group buy for aem cai for 02 si's!
First question how many people would be interested, and second what are some prices you guy's are finding on the net? I've been seein prices in the $229- $239 range. Let me know what you guy's think!

BTW i'm looking to start an import part business within the next year, right now i'm not lookin to make a lot of money just want to get my name out there, and get good prices on car parts that are already marked up at very high prices! Thanks for everyone's response's!

I would like to go in on a GB for an intake but what kind of price can you get?

I think Injen might appeal to more since they show better gains.

I would be interested in an aem cai gb. If someone can give me a reliable source on the injen power gains being more than aem then I will be interested in that.

Thanks for the feedback so far, right now i'm workin on prices for both intakes, what i know now is that i might have to wait on an injen gb because the few wholesaler's i called said there on back order, but i will have prices shortly. Keep on coming with the requests so i know what people are interested in aem or injen!

sicivic2002,
I really appreciate your dyno. It seems whenever I ask for a dyno everone turns skiddish. I do have one question though. It says on their max torque equals 126.X but on the graph it looks like its in the 14X.X range. What am I misunderstanding? If what I think I see is correct I really like the looks of that intake.

Left side is hp numbers, right side is torque.:D

SLOlife is right. For people that want to see aem graphs I believe there is another post with them.

Thanks for stateing the obvious slolife but it looks like the max torque (on the right) is wrong. ;-) I'd be interested in a red aem cai.

The injen intake seems to have more power for a short part of the power band but the AEM boosts power throughout most of the pull on the dyno. witch is more imporant to you??

i'd go with the injen

I'd jump in on an Injen group buy. I like the way it mounts behind the headlight away from any possibilities of sucking up water unlike the AEM.

For all those wanting a injen cold air intake, i found that nopi is selling them for 189+ about $10 or $12 for shipping! Options has them for $238, so nopi looks like the better deal, even my own gb wouldn't be as competitive as nopi's! (sorry guy's i tried), but damn thats a good deal!
Anyway, i see that someone else has posted a group buy for aem cai's thru someplace for 215+ shipping!
That's pretty close to what i am gonna offer which is $224 shipped!
Just let me know who wants to do the aem cai for that price and I'll set something up, lets try to get at least 5 or more! Thanks
